We specialize in decorating homes with nature and UrbEx art. We enjoy taking "straight out of camera" photographs and equally enjoy creating ART from our photographs, both allow us to capture the moment as our mind's eye sees it. We also teach creative photography and post-processing("Creativity is contagious, pass it on" Albert Einstein).
We have both two-legged and four-legged children (dogs, cats, red-eyed green tree frogs (plus a bunch of other frogs, Chameleons, and other critters), and a wonderful daughter. We love sunsets and hot fudge sundaes and embrace the "'Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the number of moments that take your breath away" philosophy!
Did I mention that we love any chance to take photographs? We appreciate the world around us and embrace the challenge of interpreting what our eyes and heart see via the camera lens. We love photographing people - capturing newborn babies all scrunched up and sleepy, the smile of toddler, child, HS senior, model or actor, or an inviting look of a business executive. We also appreciate nature photography (birds, landscapes, flowers) also gives us a chance to appreciate the "everyday miracles" that surround us. And don't forget historic places, abandoned buildings, and factories, they also have a story to tell. We lust for rust, lol.
We are passionate about our photography (we even met in a camera club). We have presented programs at NECCC, Nature Visions, CanAm, CAP, PPA, PPANE, PSA, Greater Lynn, NHCC, and to a lot of other camera and nature clubs across the New England region. We also judge photographic competitions, teach various photography and image editing workshops, have had several successful gallery exhibitions of their work, had photographs in Adirondack Life, Birder's World, Wild Bird, the WCC wolf calendar, and on the cover of paperback novel. Amherst Media recently asked us to write a photography book about their HDR and light painted images. The book, tentatively titled "Beauty in Decay: The Art of Photographing Rusty Dusty Places", was released in early 2017.
We love to teach photography and editing classes, and we lead photo tours and workshops. We offer a variety of photography classes for photographers of all levels. Photography by Lisa and Tom
